In the interests of safety of our audience, performers, and volunteers during the ongoing health crisis, we have taken the difficult decision to cancel the remaining concerts in our LICMF Lunchtime Concert Series at the Drill Hall and the 2020 Summer Festival.

We had planned a wonderful programme of events, celebrating Lincolnshire's rich historical connection to the Mayflower on its 400th anniversary. We are devastated that we will not be able to share this with our audiences, in various key venues across the county. We were especially excited to welcome Mark Padmore as our first Artist-in-Residence. We would like to thank him sincerely for his very generous support of music-making in Lincolnshire, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration.

Our audience members will be entitled to a full refund on tickets already purchased, and we will be working with Lincoln Drill Hall over the coming weeks to facilitate this. If you are a ticket holder, you do not need to do anything right now; we will be in touch soon with further information. Like many cultural organisations in the UK, Lincolnshire International Chamber Music Festival (LICMF) is a charity, and primarily relies on income from ticket sales and charitable donations to be able to continue its work. Without income from ticket sales, we need to rely solely on charitable donations to survive until we are able to stage concerts again. We understand that there are uncertain and challenging times ahead but if you are able to donate some (or all) of your ticket cost towards helping us to weather this unprecedented storm, we would be incredibly grateful. Further information about donating to LICMF can be found here.

During the next few months the Board will be working hard to re-group and plan, and we sincerely hope to be back promoting inspiring concerts very soon. In the meantime, we wish our audiences, Friends, Patrons, and creative artists the very best during this unprecedented time and we look forward to seeing you again very soon.

Thank you for your continued support.
