Members of one of the world’s top orchestras, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra from the Netherlands, honour our festival for the very first time: The Camerata RCO enjoys a chamber music season of its own, being in high demand in festivals and concert series across the globe. Covering a wide spectrum of repertoire, from classical hits like Beethoven’s Clarinet Trio to Elgar’s Piano Quintet, they also thrive on playing lesser known gems. Today’s emerald will be English romantic composer, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s Clarinet Quintet.
