Volunteering opportunities in 2022
Have you always dreamed of making live music events happen?
Lincolnshire International Chamber Music Festival has just announced its Festival 2022 and is now looking for a team of gregarious and friendly volunteers to help facilitate the Festival’s four days of live music.
We have a number of different roles which are integral to the smooth operating of this year’s Festival.
Responsibilities will include:
Welcome Steward:

Based at entrances to venues.

Welcome audience members on their arrival to the venue.

Be informed, helpful, and clear.
Ticket Checker and Seat Steward:

Ensuring all audience members have reported to the box office for ticket checking.

Directing any queries to Front of House / Box Office Manager.

Making sure audiences are comfortable during performances.
-
Assisting audiences in the event of an emergency in-line with Festival/Venue evacuation procedures.
Person Specification, Skills, and Experience
Essential:
-
Enthusiastic, honest, reliable, trustworthy, committed, and responsible.

Available for part or all the Festival (Thursday 22 – Sunday 25 July 2022).

Over 16 years old at the time of the Festival.
Desirable:
-
A passion for classical music.
-
Previous experience of stewarding/event management.
Conditions
-
All stewards will receive a comprehensive overview of roles and procedures in advance of the Festival – applicants must be available for training webinars (via Zoom).

These posts are voluntary, but stewards are given the opportunity to attend events at which they volunteer for FREE.
-
Applicants must be available for at least two events during the Festival.
